As part of the Australia-China Futures Dialogues, a number of visiting fellowships will be offered. These awards are to support PhD students and researchers in the areas of humanities and social sciences from Griffith University to undertake research at Peking University for a period of up to three months and for Peking University PhD students and researchers to undertake research at Griffith University for a period of up to three months.
These awards aim to:
- Encourage student exchange and enable exemplary students and scholars to undertake research in China or Australia
- Strengthen ties between Australia and China and mutual understanding of each country's cultures and traditions
- Build capacity for future Australia-China relations, research collaboration and training opportunities
